Best Lip Balm Ever November 10, 2004

This lip balm keeps my lips feeling silky and moist and not waxy or heavy. It has a pleasant sent that does not offend the nose (you almost cannot smell it). I have tried many lip balms, and I keep returning to this one. However, if you do not like any of the ingredients below, try another lip balm.
Ingredients: petrolatum, polydecene, caprylic/capric triglyceride, parafin, isopropyl lanolate, ozokerite, octyl methoxycinnamate, synthetic wax, aloe barbadensis extract, benzoic acid, fragrance, BHT

I've used this product for decades and wouldn't change to another for anything. It keeps my lips conditioned, prevents cold sores (for me anyway). I even use it on the sides of my nose when my nose gets a little raw from a cold or allergies and it works great, not greasy or smelly and keeps it from chapping and peeling. My husband even uses it and it keeps his lips from chapping or drying out in zero degree weather and wind. I highly recommend it to anyone. I don't leave home without it.

This is a really nice lip balm, not too heavy, doesn't taste funny, etc. But, as far as just lipbalms go however, it's nothing spectacluar, especially since it doesn't contain sunscreen. However, it does have a very unique saving grace. I have found that it does a wonderful job double tasking as a cuticle moisturizer! It's tidy, and so quick, (I just swipe in on underneath my nails and am good to go), and best of all a tube is much less expensive than actual cuticle treatments! Maybe it's the added benefit of Aloe, but my ragged, dry, sad looking cuticles have quickly, (about a week), healed up and have been behaving!

This is by far the best lip balm on the market. I absolutely love this product, and good thing as I have tons of these, I keep one nearly everywhere in my house. Honestly I have a pile of these on my computer desk, and if anyone needs a lip balm, this is the one they leave my house with. I am in fact an Avon Lady, but even before I joined, I adored this product. I keep wondering, how it is that I've spent so much more on balms, to have them come not even close to this one.
It does not feel wax heavy on my lips, and doesn't strip the skin on my lips, just keeps them supremely moisturized and silky smooth. I will never waste my money on anything else.
