I was looking for a while for a mp3 player I could take swimming each morning and listen to my music. After researching many different models I decided on giving this one a try. I couldn't find to many reviews so I was a little hesitant but the reviews I did find seemed positive. I decided I wanted to try this out for atleast 2 months before giving a review. the freestyle mp3 player is well worth the money. The waterproof earbuds that come with it are not the best for ease of use but over time I've learned to work with them and am still amazed to be able to swim each morning and listen to music the whole time. I learned by placing the earpieces in my ears before getting in the water and when Im done to take the rubber pieces off and let them dry out a little they seem to function better and for longer. Every once in a while water gets inbetween the rubber earpiece and the headphone so naturally you can barely hear out of it. By removing the rubber earpiece and blowing it out generally they start working. customer service was great to work with when I called and had some questions. they taught me how to convert music off my itunes over to the mp3 player. the earmold that goes around your ear can fall off at times it would be nice if it had a built in wire to be able to clamp it better around your ear but for the most part it stays on pretty well. That being said the music quality is quite good out of the headphones in the water. (I found that putting my ipod headphones on it the music quality is awesome out of the water.) The radio is decent out of the water. In the water the radio reception is just fare (I wasn't expecting much of that) The battery life is incredible. I swim for 30min 3-4 days a week I purchased this about two months ago and yesterday in the middle of my swim for the first time the battery died. Bottom line if I had the choice to send this back or buy it? I would buy it again in a heartbeat! The unit is quite compact and I barely notice it clamped to my swimsuit. There is nothing like swimming while listening to music!

I wanted an MP3 for swimming and found this one at a very reasonable rate. I thought that I would give it a try. Loading the music was easy. The only downside that I have is getting the earpieces to stay over my ears. I have found that if you tuck them in your goggle straps they stay on quite well.
I have also used this while riding on the back of my husband's Harley. I can listen to my music and radio stations at 65+ mph with no problems.
