small but great protection February 12, 2007 13 out of 14 found this review helpful
When I saw this bag, I thought "wow, this is so tiny"...but it is great protection for the Garmin 2720 Streetpilot. Some people throw their GPS in the glove compartment but if you want to protect your investment, you should carry it out of your car when you are exit. Some owners carry their GPS in their gym bag, purse or some other type of bag. While ordering, I didn't know if this was a necessary investment. After great thought, I decided to purchase it because of the protection the bag offers on the bottom surface, with a hard plastic surface. The instructions state to place the GPS screen faced down onto the bottom, to keep it protected. As a result, I cannot see how the GPS thrown into a large bag can be protected. If you wrap the GPS in a towel, and then into a larger bag, you may lose or drop it, forgetting you have it in the bag. It depends on how much you want to protect your initial investment of your GPS. I recommend the bag.
Fits like a glove November 13, 2006 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I own the Garmin Street Pilot 2720 and did not have anywhere to store it when not in use. Then I came across this case. Fits like a glove. Glad I found it.
I also should mention that I do not store the beanbag base or cigarette lighter adapter in the bag. It actually will not fit. I mainly wanted somewhere to store the main unit.
I also agree that if it were a tad bigger it would be better. But all in all I found it to be a good case.
A handy carrying case for a Garmin StreetPilot December 27, 2006 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
I purchased this case for use with a Garmin StreetPilot c330, and it has worked out very well. The bottom of the case is lined with hard plastic to protect the GPS. Its not super roomy, but I find that there is just enough room to carry all of the necessary equipment (GPS, mounting device for windshield, cigarette lighter adapter, and USB cable. My only minor beef with this case is the fact that there is no padding for extra protection. To solve this, I cut an old flannel pillow case in half and wrap it around the GPS unit when its not in use. This seems to work out quite well.
Perfect for my Nuvi 350 & accessories September 6, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I read the reviews about how small this bag was and decided to give it a try. If you want something to hold a bunch of junk, this bag is not for you. This bag holds my Nuvi 350, USB cable, AC adapter, DC adapter and mounting bracket. Everything but the beanbag and that is exactly what I wanted. No wasted space, no extra baggage. Good quality product.
