Perfect for iPod shuffle April 12, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you do a lot of exercise and work outdoors, this is perfect.
One little caveat January 21, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I used this almost daily for a year. It gives you a ton of options for ways to wear your shuffle. My favorite is the carabiner clip, which I can hook around the strap of my running bra. There's also a pen-type clip that has an excellent tight grip and essentially gives your 1st-gen shuffle the main advantage of a 2nd-gen.
The one drawback is that the skin does hold moisture. If you work out with your shuffle close to your body, you'll have to remove the skin and let it dry between uses, and that can take a full day. You can't get inside it to wipe it dry. It would be a good idea to get a second, cheaper skin so you can alternate.
2.5 stars October 8, 2008 One of the pieces broke the very first time I used it; however, the rest worked just fine.
Excellent customer service overshadows some quality control issues. April 29, 2006 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I expected more from a product that is priced near $30. The neck strap broke after less that 8 hours of use (granted, it didn't look all too durable). The remainder of the product appears to be of better quality, however, I am a little leery of trusting the other provided clips. Great concept, poor execution.
Review Update: Speck promptly responded to my e-mail and quickly replaced the damaged strap. The new strap is much better (design and materials). In addition, the other clips provided with the item have proven to be up to the task. It would appear that Speck cares about it's customers.
