Plug in your shuffle, fold over the lid, and you're ready to rock. Play music from your shuffle while it's docked. When it's time to recharge, just leave your shuffle in the dock and connect to your computer with the included USB cable--both the speaker's built-in Lithium-Ion battery and your shuffle will be recharged. Extreme Portability Not much bigger than most iPod cases, this speaker system will go just about anywhere. The fold-in cover means easy carrying, and your shuffle's controls are still accessible. Perfect for the Shuffle! June 23, 2008 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
I love these speakers! They twist open to reveal the speakers and are incredibly portable when closed (and also while opened). The picture shows the "open" position. When opened, they can tilt up to direct the sound a bit more. This has a rechargable Li-ion battery and the shuffle can remain inside as they both charge via your computer. The sound may not be high quality but I'm not bothered. Plus, this is super cheap in comparison to other alternatives.
The only negative aspect that I can find is that the opening cover seems as though it could break over time if not handled gently. Also, it's a slight hassle to have to open the lid and slide the two little switches (shuffle & speaker) over to turn it off.
I don't know why no one else has written a review yet!
iPod shuffle portable speaker September 8, 2008 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I bought this for my daughter; she loves it. The system is very compact and has remarkably good sound at a low cost. To charge the unit without a computer, an AC adapter must be purchased separately.
