Better than I expected. September 18, 2007 18 out of 18 found this review helpful
First off, very fast shipping. I ordered it on a Friday and recieved it Tuesday morning. I wasn't expecting it until much later.
I ordered the green bag and I love it. Though, like it is in the picture, it's more brown than green. The strap is an army green and the bag itself is a drab kinda green with brown mixed in. So it's not completely green nor brown, so just keep that in mind if you're thinking about ordering the green bag. Very very subdued green.
The design looks really nice and I love the interior lining. It seems very sturdy with durable canvas. The unqiue closure on the front flap I like. It can be a little tricky closing it, but for anyone whose had broken clasps or velcro that comes off, will love this. If you're in a rush you can smooth the flap down and the velcro on the other side of the flap will hold it down.
I worried if it would hold a day's worth of college books (3 books, notebooks, etc.) and I'm relieved to say it does. I don't have a laptop so I put notebooks in there instead.
Overall, a 10 out of 10.
Great bag for yout 15" laptop and books May 25, 2008 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
After scouting various stores for a good laptop bag for school and coming up empty; I went online to look for one. Most laptop/messenger bags I saw were usually tailored for business/travel people in mind. They had more of a professional look to them that I just didn't agree with. I wanted a more laid back, casual looking bag. I finally settled on this one.
The bag is big. My 15" laptop fits in great with room to spare. All my notebooks, papers, and textbooks fit just nicely as well. On the inside, there are three small pouchs that can hold various pens and pencils. The strap is adjustable and the side pockets can fit either your cellphone or a small snack. It's a bit too small to fit a water bottle though. There is also a pouch on the back of the bag that could be use for a small notebook or other loose papers. As for appearance, it looks great. The design on the front is nice and it doesn't come off as being too flashly.
Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase. This bag is great for anyone that's in college and needs something to carry their books and laptop in. I suppose it could also be used on a work/professional level, but some could argue it wouldn't fit because it doesn't look as professional as those leather laptop bags. Nevertheless, it's a very stylish bag that easily fits any 15" laptop and various other school/work supplies.
Great bag for techies, worker bees. April 1, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I didn't expect this bag to be as big or roomy as it looks in the picture, but actually it is very nice! The thick canvas is lined with a smoothe nylon-like material on the inside, which helps protect all the stuff I have stashed in here. I can fit my papers, laptop, a lunch bag, and lots of other goodies in here with no problem!
There's also plenty of pockets. The inside has two large sections; one section has a velcro flap to hold in your laptop or books, or whatever. There are 3 pockets on the front underneath the large front flap, as well as another large pocket with a zipper in front, which is the length of the whole bag. Also on both of the sides are two rectangular pockets with velcrow covers, and I can fit my umbrella in one and my sunglasses in another.
The front strap that holds the bag closed works pretty well, but it takes a little while to get used to. There's a trick to it: you have to hold the metal clasp together and then slide the leather strap through it. This can be a little frustrating when you first get the bag, but trust me within a few days you'll be an expert. I also really like that the left side of the bag is held down by velcrow, so that I can just lift it up and drop stuff in the bag, or pull my ipod out of one of the front pockets.
The shoulder strap is very comfortable, despite not having any padding. It's a very wide and thick strap, and is adjustable to a pretty long length, which is great for a 6'4" tall guy like myself. I still have more room to extend the shoulder strap, although I doubt I'm gonna get any taller at this point. :)
Anyway, I like the bag a lot. It's much lighter than a leather laptop bag, and has much more room for stuff in it. The only downside is that there's not a lot of padding for your laptop if you plop or drop the bag down, so you have to be careful if you're gonna carry a laptop or other fragile gadgetry in it. But, the storage space and light weight more than make up for this.
Another reviewer said that this bag was a bit unprofessional, but I strongly disagree (unless you're a VP or CEO or something). I work in the IT department at a corporate office, and get compliments on how cool the bag is. Everyone thinks I have a lot of work stuff in it, but really it's packed with comics and gizmos. :) But yeah, definitely worth the money and it's made with great quality canvas that doesn't look like it's going to come apart any time soon. Very durable, stylish, and all-around great messenger bag. A+

I bought this bag not knowing what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. This bag is excellent. The color is rich and nice and its quite trendy. I'm very happy that I bought this bag.
Great Quality Laptop Bag March 30, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
17", this bag will infact hold a laptop up to seventeen inches, abid snug though. I've been through many laptop bags over the last four or five years and no bag has ever lasted me as long as this one has. the typical lifespan of a bag for me is three months; this laptop bag has lasted for 5 to 6 months as of this writing and aside from the hole that I have worn in the bottom-left corner, this bag has survived nearly unscathed. I highly reccomend this bag to anyone looking for a good durable bag. One more important detail, the padding, for me atleast, is good if your laptop is the reccommended 15.4 inches or smaller but merely okay if your laptop is any bigger.
