Upgraded from 60 GB version April 8, 2008
I upgraded my 60 GB iPod to the 160 GB version a couple of months ago, and found out the hard way that even though the new iPod fits into the older H2O housing, the buttons don't work correctly.
I bought the 160 waterproof housing, and it works just as advertised. I use it in my hot tub during long solitary soaks, and I've never had any drops on the iPod inside, either the older or the new versions.
The only negative about these housings is the sound quality of the earphones. The newer H3 version sounds a little better, but they are a long way from high fidelity. Using the original ones was like listening to music on the telephone.
I spoke with the H2O guys at MacWorld, and they gave me a song and dance about why the sound isn't better... but the fact is that other earpods sound much better, albeit more expensive and not water resistant.
Bottom line: I'm happy with what the H2O housings offer in terms of protection from water damage, and would buy one of these units again.
