Very happy with this, my kid has not dropped the touch yet. it has great grip and the color is not as flashy as the picture

This case does a great job of protecting the 2nd gen iPod Touch, while accounting for all of the buttons and access points. It feels great in your hand.
The only strike against this case is the removable cover for the docking port. In addition to the risk of losing the cover while removed, the cover is really difficult to re-insert.

The color varies from what is shown in the image it is more a darker blue and is not as brightly shown as it is in the current image (only reason for 4 stars). The silicone is well made and covers the volume and power buttons but you can still easily access them. Also there is an extra silicone insert for the place where you plug in the power cord to the ipod that you can put in the ipod when you don't have a cord in it. The headphone jack is open and easy to access. Mine did come with a screen protector however it was a protector for the iphone (not sure why i got that when i ordered an ipod case?) Over all it is a great case protector and it has a smooth feel to it. I will buy from this company again they had fast shipping too!
With the screen protector you have to peel the white tab that is on the one end and you lay the part you just peeled the tab off of onto your ipod and it protects great.

The cover feels good! Black is sleek with the iPod Touch 2nd Gen, but the only complaint I have with it is it attract "dust" or "lint" from the air and it is hard to get it off the case.
Still, I love it for the comfort in my hand and protection for my iPod Touch.

I wouldn't feel comfortable with it in a backpack because the edges can easily escape from the skin. The included screen protector is garbage, my fingernail scratches it... Overall it looks nice and protects the scratchy metal on the back but it is way too soft to provide a secure tight fit to protect the edges. A key in your pocket could easily slip under the skin in the front and scratch the edges. If your looking for a case you can throw into a purse/backpack/pocket with stuff that can scratch your itouch get something sturdier.
