1 out of 5 stars FTP ACCESS TIMES OUT - SERIOUS ISSUES!   March 27, 2008
2 out of 2 found this review helpful

Please be sure to check out the linksys community forums before purchasing this router. If you plan on transferring files via FTP, this is not the product for you. Furthermore, by looking at the forums, it looks like Linksys is either ignoring the problem or simply does not care!!!

My advice: BUY SOMETHING ELSE!!

1 out of 5 stars FTP broken   May 11, 2008

I can confirm that FTP does not work on this router and also add that throughput is VERY slow. When I contacted LinkSys support about this I was told that LinkSys no longer supports this router. I would not purchase this again.

1 out of 5 stars Documentation Incomplete, VPN worthless, Router Crashes for Bit Torrent or FTP   May 12, 2008
2 out of 2 found this review helpful

I'd give this router 0 stars if I can.

I'm a consultant and bought it for a client needing VPN access. I'm trying to setup a VPN and the documentation is non-existent.

I have the router hooked up at home connected to a wireless AP. Every time a client machine uses Bit Torrent or FTP, the router crashes.

How could Linksys release such a mess?
