So much better than windshield mount! September 6, 2008
Delightfully surprised with this product. When I ordered it, I thought I was taking a bit of a gamble - I thought it wouldn't stay securely in my vehicle's cupholder and that it would be thrown about everywhere as I drove. Au contraire, mon frere! Turns out that it's fabulous - very stable and I can adjust it to any angle. Also, I like that using the cup holder mount makes the Garmin less obtrusive than if I used a windshield mount (although, of course, I hide both the Garmin and the mount when not in use!)
When I purchased my Garmin, I also purchased a friction beanbag dash mount in addition to the cup holder, just so I'd have options. Used the beanbag once, but not liking it all that much (again, I enjoy the discreetness of having the Garmin in a lower position in the cup holder area of my vehicle.) Really like this product!
