5 out of 5 stars Awesome Product   December 12, 2008

I was somewhat sceptical when I read the claims but I used the product to repair the cover on our grill that we keep on the deck. The edges of the cover had worn through so the corners of the grill had poked out.

I tried the product on all the holes and to my pleasure each corner is repaired and you cannot see the grill through any of the corners. I live in Chicago and even in this extreme cold the repair job is holding up just fine.

5 out of 5 stars Why don't you read the product features?   November 20, 2008

Why don't you read the product features before you write a disparaging review of a product you haven't even used? The contents of the package is clearly stated within.

4 out of 5 stars product review   November 21, 2008

I checked the page thoroughly when I bought the item and could not find what was in the package either... and now it's conveniently up there and everyone is saying people can't read. Maybe it was a malfunction, but the description was NOT up there when I bought this item. There is no way I missed that, I looked up and down the page about 10 times to try to help the guy who couldn't find it out, but it was NOT there.

I bought it anyway, though. It works okay. Not like they say on the commercial. I had a rip in a shirt and used the Mighty MendIt (after poking a hole in the tip as instructed, but had to cut the whole tip off to get anything substantial out) to close the rip. It says to wait 2 hours before wearing. I checked after four hours and with some pulling it came apart again. I redid it and waited 14 hours and it still comes apart. I haven't even tried washing it yet and probably won't. I was expecting something that would hold extremely well, gauging from the commercial, but- as usual- the product doesn't stand up to the seller's claims.
It works about the same as if you hot glued something together, but it does work better than the regular fabric glues I've tried. I haven't tried the GemIt yet, but I hope it works. I would recommend it for little fixes as long as you don't fiddle with it or pull it much. Also, beware, it's a little messy, but I guess that's the case with all fabric glue. The 6 oz. bottle will last me a long time, so even if it was regular fabric glue it would be worth the $10 + shipping. Same as two bottles of regular glue at WalMart. At least it's a little better quality.

4 out of 5 stars so far so good   December 12, 2008

Have used it for a dog bed, a jacket, some utility summer shorts. It has done what I needed so far, and I'm pleased to have holes patched with little effort. It is also easy to work with, unlike some superglue products.

3 out of 5 stars No Quantity WAS True folks   November 24, 2008

Like K.Looren and DFB, I looked and looked and found NO QUANTITY listed for this product. So, rather than leave a review then (I hadn't used the glue yet), I fired off a non-too-happy email to the SeenOnTVGuys from their website. Of course, they never responded directly to me -- probably too busy correcting their listing on Amazon. Well, what ever works! So you can disregard the 3 stars for the moment (the system requires some stars to enter words here) -- I'll rewrite a review after the stuff has arrived and I've tried it.
