Product Description Most fresh produce releases an ethylene gas that accelerates decomposition and causes it to go bad. Evert-Fresh Bags absorb and remove this gas to prolong food life and reduce vitamin loss up to 50%. An anti-fog surface minimizes moisture, thereby inhibiting bacterial growth. Each bag can be reused 5-10 times. Japan. Choose from the following sizes: Each size contains 10 bags.Small (10 1/2 gallon bags, 1/4" deep) Medium (10 1 gallon bags, 3/8" deep) Large (10 11/2 gallon bags, 3/8" deep) Use Extra Life Disks (sold separately) in crispers or plastic containers to absorb 97% of ethylene build-up. Each disk lasts 3 months.

Love them December 2, 2006 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I am trying to order more of these bags for Christmas for my family. They keep food fresher longer, including bananas.
These bags work better than I thought possible! April 9, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I ordered these bags (I bought all sizes available) with much skepticism. But we kept throwing produce out because it spoiled so quickly...especially the bagged 'spring mix' lettuces and other greens would become slimy in a few days, so it was worth trying. We can now refrigerate the spring mix for up to two weeks! It also works great with bananas, plums, apples, spinach, tomatoes - even pears ... the list goes on and on. The only thing to watch for is if a piece of fruit already has a bruise ... the bruise will get mushy ... so look out for storing bruised fruit with non-bruised fruit. Keep them separate. A great product and worth every cent I paid for it. Diane
great product May 11, 2008 Really works. Keeps delicate vegetables and fruits fresh for a week (or two) longer than ordinary bags, plus they can be reused. Great for fresh herbs as well.
??? November 21, 2008 the bags work great, arrived quickly. I do believe you can find them in Bed Bath and Beyond however.
