5 out of 5 stars New Material   October 15, 2008

I love Sarah McLachlan and her beautiful voice, thats why I have all of her original stuff and she'll always be five star material to me, However I think she has problems coming up with new songs. Most of her albums consist of partial or entire previous compilations. I was really happy when she came out with 'Surfacing', eons ago, with its' all original material, but she doesn't seem to be able to keep the music flowing. She needs to team up with other talented musicians like Heather Nova, who seems to not have song writing difficulties. I think it would help her and it would be great to hear some new material.

5 out of 5 stars Strikingly Sarah   November 16, 2008
Sarah has a soothing, special voice. The songs are wonderful! We had to wait way too long for a "greatest hits" album.

5 out of 5 stars Sarah we have all grown to love   October 9, 2008

If you are reading this review you are probably a fan of some level of Sarah McLaughlin. To that end I have to say you will not be dissapointed with this greatest-of album. Some of the songs here I had not had with my collection, some I lost through time and I was very happy to have them all again. Not a bad album at all.

If your just getting into Sarah, then this is a PERFECT album to get into her with. If your an old hard core fan then you probably have all of this music in some form in your collection. Either way I highly recommend this for your collection.

5 out of 5 stars An Album of Classics   November 15, 2008

If you are a fan of Sarah Mc Lachlan you can't go wrong with this new collection bringing together all her new classic hits. I do so anxiously await her next album, hopefully filled with new creative and original music. The raw strength of her voice is unbeatable; her lyrics and passionate delivery remind me of a young, new up-and-coming artist, Arrica Rose in her newest album La La Lost. Her voice soft and sultry, but her strength like Sarah is in her words and the feeling drenching her songs. Check them out.

5 out of 5 stars A Whole New Sarah   October 8, 2008

A huge fan of Sarah's music, I rushed out to get her new release Closer . This cd is supposed to have the serious side of Sarah since the recent break up of her marriage.
10/7/08 This cd made it into my hands and started to play. Her work is magificent and has quite a few of her all time masterpieces I Will remember You, Angel, Adia and Fallen. The tracks listed are: Vox (3.5), The Path of Thorns (6)(beautiful) , Into The Fire (5), Possession (5), Hold On (6), Good Enough (5), Building a Mystery(4) , Sweet Surrender(4), Adia (4), Angel(6), I Will Remember You (5), Fallen (6), Stupid (4,) World On Fire (4), Dont Give Up On Us (4) and U Want Me 2 (5). This is so timeless and a great piece of her work. Sarah the Magnificent. A must. Enjoy all the hits on 1 cd.
