My husband has dislocated his shoulders repeatedly, so I bought him this after his most recent dislocation so he would feel more secure at work. Well he loves it, he wears it every day now and wont go to work without it. He says that it makes his shoulder feel much more secure and doesn't worry as much about it popping out. I guess the only improvement would be to make one that supports both shoulders instead of just one.
Just as a note, he does wear an undershirt under it, because without the undershirt it began to irritate his skin since he was wearing it every day.

Even it's a little expensive it does the job on maintaining your shoulder on the cuff and you feel some extra strength. High-end material. I recommend using underwear below it since it can rub your skin with the daily movement.

I ordered a large. It was little too tight around the biceps for someone with a 40 inch chest. I don't think my biceps at 16 inches is overly large. This was a minor drawback. This item was not form fitting enough on the shoulder and gave minimal support. The design of having the supporting straps cross the chest and attach under the other shoulder works well but can only be tighten to a very limited extent. This also contributed to the lack of good shoulder support. If the straps could be adjusted to be tighter, the shoulder support would be better. Looks good in the picture, but would shift around and rise up with just moderate activity because the supports straps cannot be tightened beyond the velcro taps. When I pulled the straps tighter manually, the shoulder support was greatly improved. I cannot recommend this item as currently designed.
