I just wanted to say I am a mother of three so I bought this mat for my children to spend some fun quality time together while I get some household chores done. I agreed with the other reviews but then I found a web site where you can buy the extra pens and stamps. Now my kids really enjoy drawing on the mat. [...]. The pens and the stamps are (...)for the set. While the cost of the mat was a bit expensive for only having one pen the time that my children now spend together is well worth the extra money for the pens and stamps. I ordered a few of them just in case any of them were lost. I hope this helps other parents with the problem of not being able to find these accessories.

I think this a wonderful toy. I have 2 year old twins and they love the doodle mat and the color sheets. I also have a seven year old who likes to color with my little ones. We took this on vacation and was great - no worrying about crayons and coloring on walls. I have since purchased another for my niece who is a year in a half. I have not experienced any problems with drying like the other person has. If anything it dries very quickly. We have also purchased the stamp set which came with extra pens. A must have if you have kids!

My 3 year old son received this for his birthday, I'm not sure where his aunt got it, but it included 2 markers and 3 stampers. This is an excellent toy!! I had to take his crayons away because he wouldn't stop coloring on the walls so this solved the whole problem. The markers are filled with water, so whatever he writes on, there's no marks left!!! There's absolutely no mess, the stamp pad has a sponge in it so that doesn't even spill. I hung the doodle pad on the wall for him to color on and he plays with it every day. Even his older cousins come over and play with it along with him. There is also an alphabet that goes around the pad that kids can trace. I haven't had any problems with it not drying, it usually dries in under a minute. I would definitely recommend this!!

I agree that the mat should come with more than one pen. It is hard to find the accessories for this. I did find an Aquadoodle Jumbo pack at Costco for $28. It's a bigger mat, has 4 pens, stampers, etc. that come with it, which is nice.

This toy is wonderful!! My 4 year old daughter played with it at Kidtopia toy store in Okoboji, IA. She was very intrigued. The quality is very good. The one that we purchased came with 2 pens, 3 stamps and a stamp pad. The toy will not cost anymore to replace markers etc. because you refill the pens and stamp pad with water. My daughter played with it the entire time we were in the store, and the best part about it is there is no mess. It's water!!! I would recomend this toy to anyone!!!
