The Baby Alive was exactly what I wanted, When I ordered it It was sent in only a couple days, It was a Christmas gift and I was alittle worried it wouldnt make it in time. I would order again and again from Amazon.
Thank you Amazon

A Great Alternative to Expensive Baby Alives October 30, 2008 I bought this doll for my seven year old daughter in advance of Christmas. She said she wanted Baby Alive that is priced at $[...] and above. However, when she talked about it, she said she only wanted a doll that went potty, so she could use "real diapers". This Baby Alive is a perfect compromise. She can still feed her baby and change it's diaper, but I am not worried about having another expensive toy laying around that she grows out of. This one is definitely worth it!
Wonderful Doll Would Buy Again November 12, 2008 We got this doll for my daughters 4th birthday. She begged and begged for her. The doll has held up wonderful! We have had her for almost 2 years now. She still plays with her. We only used water not the juice packets; then dried the diapers and reused them until they didn't work at all even with tape. I liked the fact her hair was plastic because I wouldn't have to brush the rats out! We have had her in the tub, playing with friends and outside. She washes easily and works well. No problems with any mold. She also fits doll dresses. We did purchase on a clearance sale a baby alive dress, diaper and pacifier kit. Would recommand this doll over and over. A great surprise and WONDERFUL doll!
Great battery free doll! June 15, 2007 29 out of 29 found this review helpful
My mother bought this as a treat for my four year old daughter. She has played with her many, many times, and I am pleased that she is an "action" doll that requires no batteries. You insert the straw into her mouth, and squeeze her tummy to get her to sip up her drink. The only drawbacks are that she doesn't come with enough diapers and juice mix. However, you CAN use ordinary tap water, so I add a couple of drops of food coloring to a 16 oz bottle of water, and it makes it look like juice for the doll. We've had fake blueberry juice, orange juice, apple juice, strawberry juice. Much more creative for the child this way, with the same effect. As for the diapers, it's like $[...] for a pack of 5 diapers for this doll. I bought a generic package of newborn diapers ($[...] for 40), which are slighly big, but if you overlap the tapes they serve the purpose. My daughter was much happier being able to play with her over and over again, instead of just a few times before running out of supplies. My six year old has also had a good time with her, and I'm hoping that in another year or two we can use it as a potty training type doll when my youngest is ready to be trained. Overall, I think it's a great little doll.
Worked for us September 4, 2007 14 out of 14 found this review helpful
I bought this to use with our Potty Party (see "Potty Train Your Child in Just One Day" by Teri Crane). When you give her a drink, the water runs out almost immediately so you have to use an eye dropper to have her urinate when you are sitting the doll on the potty. That being said, my daughter loves this doll. She bonded with her instantly and carries her everywhere. She's stood up to being uncerimoniously banged around on occasion. I chose this doll over the fancier electronic Baby Alive because she was cheaper and not as creepy (any parent who knows about the movie Child's Play would be creeped out by a doll who says, "I want to play"). I was unable to find doll clothes, specifically panties, for her. I was able to easily alter toddler panties for her.
Overall, we are very pleased with this purchase.
