 Son Loves It! Works Fine with Most Matchbox Cars. March 3, 2007

My son got this as a gift and he LOVES it. He never seems to tire of racing the cars round and round. He even likes to try push the cars up the ramps. In our experience it worked with almost all of our Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars. There were only a few that were either too long to make it around the curves or two wide to go down, but the majority worked just fine. Some cars go faster than others, which makes the racing more fun. The only annoying thing is that the track makes race car noises and says things like "Speed, I am speed" and "You're one gutsy race car". However, you can turn the sound off or just remove the batteries if the sounds make you nuts.
Edited to add: I wanted to add that it works with most Matchbox style cars, but most of the actual Disney cars from the movie Cars do not work. They are mostly too wide for the track.

My 2 Year old loves this. It works well with most matchbox and hotwheel cars. He has even raced his take-a-long thomas trains the fall off but he loves it. This is just about the only toy that he will play with for long periods of time alone. We love it!!!!!!!!!!

BOUGHT THIS FOR MY GRANDSON WHO IS A LITTLE OVER A YEAR..HE HAS FUN WITH IT..IT IS SIMPLE TO DO AND EASY FOR THIS AGE CHILD.WOULD RECCOMEND IT.

We bought this at WalMart for my son's two year old birthday. He LOVES it. From the day he got it, it is one of his favorite toys. They like to watch the cars go down the twirling tack, hear the quotes from the show. They love the engine sounds when you put the cars in the racing slots. This is a return to the fact that toys can be simple, yet tons of fun. That being said, I WOULD NEVER PAY OVER 20 DOLLARS FOR THIS! Not sure what is going on with the $140 price tag, but if you can get it for the MSRP or less, it's worth every penny!

Santa brought this for my 2 year old son for Christmas and it is the best toy. Why? Because you don't have to put it together, it is light weight, it is reasonably priced and my son can play with it for a long period of time and not get bored.
It comes with 2 small cars and we found that any typical sized Hot Wheels or Matchbox car fits on the track.
I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fun gift.
