Great First Piano!!! November 11, 2005 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
We got this piano for our two boys (4 & 2-1/2) to help them begin to learn how to play music. This piano makes it so easy for them with the colored key code that fits above the keys so that they can follow along with the music book. The look on their faces as they play (and sing along) with the songs is absolutely adorable!
For us, we found the sound of the piano to be fine - no issues. One nice thing is that it's just loud enough...if you know what I mean. This keeps them occupied for hours on end.
Five stars for this purchase - you won't be disappointed with this piano...and your kids will love it!!!
Great find and value! January 7, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This little piano is turining out to be both fun and educational. The adults are enjoying as much as the 2 1/2 year old owner. Pretty good sound for a toy and durable as far as taking the use from a toddler.
Wow, who knew a piano could be so much fun. September 5, 2008 My whole family bonds almost nightly around this little guy. My son loves to listen to us play, and he loves to join in and tap a few keys himself. He can be found daily tapping his own style out, much to the joy of us. Its a great toy and should hold up for years to come. Sound quality is good enough for a toy, its not perfect by far.
Great classic Topy Piano - Solidly Built September 26, 2008 Great piano. Solid. We knocked it over a lot. It survived until Lucas was 5 years old. Sad to see it go into the garage sale. Classic metal tine sound.
Excellent, even for a 12 month old! October 3, 2008 I bought this for my daughter as she loved her plastic infant piano with four keys, but as she got older she threw it around more than she 'played' it. The Melissa and Doug piano is much larger, very sturdy, and is heavy enough that it stays in place while my little girl bangs on the keys.
I am confident that as she gets older, she may actually learn to play this piano with the included music book. The piano arrived in tune, and is quite playable even with adult fingers on the small, child-sized keys.
I got this piano while it was on sale for a ridiculously low price, and it is definitely a good value. Even at the regular price I think this piano is worth purchasing for children that are even remotely musically inclined, or for those with children that just like to make noise with musical instruments like my daughter.
Very highly recommended!
