2 y/o Rock Star April 4, 2007 28 out of 30 found this review helpful
This guitar is a toy and not a real guitar. It is the perfect size for my 2 y/o rock star. The sounds effects can be annoying and tape over the speaker helps keep it lower. You can take the batteries out so it just strums like a guitar without all the sound effects. This is a good TOY guitar and I recommend it for a young age group. My 2 y/o loves this. He walks around with it all day long.
Great guitar! January 12, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
We got this for my son for Christmas, and he LOVES it. I took out the batteries immediately, and he strums on the strings. There are actual strings. The battery-operated noise is really annoying and will only shut off when it wants to (you cannot turn it off). However, my son loves strumming it instead of the automatic sound it used to make. One of the silver string tighteners (don't know what they're called) broke off already. My son is almost 2. I highly recommend this for any child!! Its a perfect size. There is a neck strap, which allows for easy handling.
Great Toy Guitar September 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this guitar for my 3-year old grandson. He LOVED it and was so excited because it looked like a real "rock and roll guitar". He never put this down once he opened the present. When he woke the next morning, the first thing he went for was his "rock and roll guitar".
The sound is annoying but not any more so than other electronic toy. You can shut off the noise each time by pressing on the silver bar but it does start back up with any touch.
The item is durable and I highly recommend this item as long as you realize that it is a toy and not a real guitar.
This guitar rocks! October 31, 2008 I bought this for my 3yr old Son and he love to play it. The colour is nice and the size is just right for small children. One thing though about this guitar is that the sound can be annoying to parents. But kids nothing doesn't really bother them.
Jammin' away January 18, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
The kids loved the guitar, but it was enough to drive the adults insane. Anytime you touch something on the plastic guitar, the toy belts out a long, seemingly never-ending riff.
This toy is only for people with deaf parents.
The guitar plays its own songs - with very little involvement from the kids. It was fun for 20 minutes.
