I am now a crackberry addict!!! August 12, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is my first blackberry and first smartphone. I simply love this phone. I can do anything I want on it, it is very loud compared to my old phone and I get my email whenever I need it.
I have added apps to do everything including rss feeds, facebook, and accessing my twitter account. I have added my own ringtones just by emailing them to the phone and they worked wonderfully.
The only cons are that the case grabs fingerprints like crazy.
If you have never used a BB before just go to crackberry.com and learn everything there is to learn.
BUY THIS PHONE YOU WON'T REGET IT... just from who you buy it from. February 22, 2008 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
This phone is amazing. I am a high school student who has a computer repair business and this phone does everything for me. The camera is very nice. The mirror on the back is weird and makes it hard to take pictures if you try to use it. NO VIDEO (I think the service blocks it from working). It is very fast. I had a pantec duo slider that thing was slower than a short bus with three wheels full of spedz(special eds). The ball is sexy and easy to use. GPS works fast. Opera Mini browser is really cool too I recommend it over the stock internet browser. Keyboard is easy to type just give yourself a few messages to get use to it. The speaker sounds incredibly good especially if you take off the back the speaker becomes bare great for listening to music quietly and studying. SO MANY TOOLS and applications from blackberry and big name software creators. SD CARD worked like a charm. Computer software was recently updated to 4.3 and that works a lot better and looks a lot better two. Its a great phone I would totally recommend it. Syncs with tons of stuff. BUT ATT sucks they don't even understand how to hook the phone up to their systems. This is a review about the phone not the service provider so I won't get into it.
Love it! December 14, 2007 25 out of 36 found this review helpful
I've bought at least 200 items from Amazon and I've never once written a review. With the Blackberry Curve 8310, I can't resist writing one. My husband has an original Blackberry from about 4 years ago. I've used it a few times, mainly on trips, but I didn't think it was particularly intuitive. I never felt comfortable with the features or buttons.
I have 6 kids and a very full calendar. I am constantly finding myself making follow-up dentist/doctor/hair appointments and having to call to reschedule once I reconcile the appointment card with my calendar (this happens whether I am using a paper calendar or my Outlook calendar).
I am often out and about and need a phone number. Late for picking up the kids at preschool? I'm out of luck if I don't have the school number and/or the number of a parent of another preschooler to pick my child up.
I'm the room parent for another child's classroom. I often run into parents who ask me what they signed up to bring for the next classroom event. Easy enough with the new Blackberry.
On Monday mornings after I get the kids on the bus, I sit down with the all-encompassing bin of `for the calendar', `for the address book' and `for the notepad' scraps of paper. I enter them all into Outlook on my desktop computer. This may sound like a
Blackberry for Life June 4, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
What can I say. The Blackberry has and does continue to keep me organized in my busy world as well as in touch with friends, family, and clients. I am a fitness trainer and it is very important that I keep a good schedule, which I myself am terrible at. The Blackberry, with its full Qwerty keyboard, saves me lots of time and worry. I origanally had the 8700c, which was great then and had upgraded to the first Curve when it came out and loved that one as well. When Blackberry came out with the GPS Curve, I was in heaven for the simple fact that not only does it keep me organized and on track, but it also keeps me from getting lost when I am getting lost, because I am also very bad at directions! :o)
It takes great pictures, is very user freindly, and will always be my phone of choice.
Two thumbs up for me!!
A Kick [...] phone May 8, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I just updated my old blackberry (7100i) to this one. This phone is just plain awesome. To the person who gave it a one star, it's not the phone. You can turn off the alerts anytime you choose to. If you are having problems with your phone, there are sites that can teach you the tricks of your phone. Try going to the [...]. No I do not work for Blackberry, I just believe that this is a great product; it's literally a computer in your hand. Since getting this phone I have gotten rid of my data cards, and just used my phone as the modem. I will agree with you the keyboard is a little small, but who gives a [...]. You can't enjoy the sunny days unless it rains. It does so much more, believe me if your reading this, spend the $[...] investment and get one. You won't regret it. I would keep mentioning all the great things this phone does, but I would run out of space. On the end note RIMM's stock is not at $[...] for nothing. Peace.
