Es un buen computador de trabajo January 7, 2008 Es un buen computador de trabajo, no lo recomiendo para jugar. Esta mquina funciona mejor con Windows XP.
Has some problems March 9, 2008 This system came preloaded with windows vista, which sucks. Also, it keeps dropping wireless connectivity regularly.

While I generally love this computer when it's working, the problem with it is that it often ISN'T working. My computer broke in less than a year of owning it and customer support was TERRIBLE. They wanted to charge me $2/minute to talk with them!
Plus, the laptop was packaged with the utterly useless and rather annoying empowerment technology that seemed to do nothing but slow down the computer.
Save your money and find a brand that creates a laptop less prone to breaking and is more willing to help you if your computer does break.

Acer is complete junk. Lots of stores are trying to push Acer because of the really high margins they get compared to other brands of laptops and desktops. I have had 2 Acers quit in the last year and a half, with Acer refusing to warranty either one. The first, my laptop, ran so hot that it actually burned the palm of my hand, red burn mark and everything. I called Acer support who told me that's normal. Well, I work at Sybase and have used laptops at work exclusively for the last 8 years. I know how hot laptops get, and third degree burns is not normal. A month later, the laptop's AC adapter fried. Again, Acer support refused to do anything. So, I bought a new AC adapter. Two weeks later, it fried also. Called back Acer support telling them this was not normal. "I agree" was the guys response, but since I was now ONE WEEK past the one year warranty, "TOO BAD!" They refuse to do anything even though my problems started well within the warranty period. Other problems with Acer is their build quality. Check how much the keyboards flex, screen hinges wobble, etc. Do yourself a favor, STAY AWAY FROM ACER.

I would give a rateing of Zero for this product... the laptop works great, i really like this when its working... but their customer service is real bad...once you have a problem that's it ( god help you!!!) very un-professional and un-cooperative customer service...no good technical knowledge... i had problem with laptop getting real hot and fan noisy...sound quality not so good...pls stay away from acer and go for some other good brands even if its little expensive...hope my review helps.
