Netgear Wireless N great product May 21, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
NETGEAR RangeMax Premium Wireless-N Gigabit Router (WNR3500) Great router with easy to setup features. I was weary since I has a laptop, xbox 360, and ps3, but this router worked great out of the box. It took only 5-10 minutes to setup and all my gaming consoles and my laptop were connected immediately. No Lag even when all three systems were on playing multiplayer. If your a brand loyal netgear person then this is your next step if your going Wireless N.
very powerful August 2, 2008 it is the most powerful wireless router i have ever seen , pretty impressive ,
Super reception and speed August 23, 2008 I upgraded from a pre-N Linksys model because my internal N WIFI product kept dropping the signal. The NetGear RangeMax Premium Wireless-N Gigabit Router has been flawless. It has never dropped my connection. The speed is comparable to a wired connection or better. I got what I wanted.
Excellent Product August 30, 2008 This is an excellent product especially if you are running Vista. It was very easy to install and has work like a champ since I installed it. It does not require a Computer Geek to install. A couple easy instructions and you are operational. Go for it!
NETGEAR WNR3500 October 20, 2008 This is a great system, easy to set-up, strong signal, no drops. My kids and wife use the laptop about 3-4 nights a week for homework or shopping. They just boot up the laptop and go.
I purchased this to go with my new fiber optic high speed internet as we choose to give up dial-up so the oldest can get homework done in a timely fashion. The installer set-up it up for me, 'cause NETGEAR is always a problem, of course he picked the WEP protocol and said that was easy and left. I bought it for the WPA2 and the local office supply store was closing out the notebook adapter for $20.00. Re-setting the security to WPA2 was easy, I just the used the supplied CD for the owners manual. I've got signal strong everywhere in my two-story and I can use the local how spot from corner coffee house, if only they did not turn if off at night...
No problems after 30 days.
